Student For Christ Int'l is a student movement, a para-church Christian organization committed to the preaching and teaching of God's whole counsel to the whole person of students throughout the whole world, to the building of the church of God, and to the glory of God.
1. We hold to the Westminster Confession of Faith and Larger and Shorter Catechisms as our doctrinal standards.
2. Our aim is the establishment of Reformed faith and life so that we may be the salt and light of the earth.
3. Our mission is:-The establishment of churches in Philippine according to the Reformed Faith through nationwide campus evangelization.The establishment of the world church according to the Reformed Faith through world evangelization.
OUR STANDARDS:
Soli Deo Gloria "Our Purpose"The purpose of every child of God is to give glory to God alone in all that he or she does. The chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. Let us remember that God created us in the first place, and that we were simply "built" for His purposes and His glory.
Sola Scriptura "Our Standard"The standard by which we live is Scripture alone. What we are to believe, and what we are to do can all be found in God's Word. His Word is our final authority, because His Word is the first and final truth. We cannot depend on human reason, human consent, and human feelings for truth. In the end, Scripture stands forever, and stands alone.
Coram Deo "Our Attitude" As children of God, let us remember that we live in the presence of God everywhere and all the time. Our Father bears witness to all that we think, say, and do in our lives. So let us understand that we are always in the holy presence of God. Let us be holy, because our God is holy.
Sola Fide "Our Foundation" A child of God lives by faith alone. He or she is called righteous before God only by having faith in Jesus Christ. This is justification by faith alone. We cannot be saved by our own works or good deeds. In the end, our foundation for salvation is based on the belief that Jesus shed His blood for you and me. By faith we are saved, by faith we live, and by faith we will be made holy.
Sola Gratia "Our Content" The main "material substance" of Christian life is the grace of God. God's grace is poured out to us so that we may be able to live in faith, grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ, and glorify God. God's grace saves us, so that we may receive the gift of eternal life and hope.
In Sola Scriptura Sancto "Our Power"Our power to live out the true Christian life comes from God through the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit, who lives in the hearts of all Christians, brings into reality the work of Christ in the life of the believer. It is only by the power of the Holy Spirit that we are made more and more like Christ everyday.
